| Junior Database

The Junior Database
has five strands, each of which contains a number of sub-strands:
Many assessment items integrate the strands. These items are cross-referenced and hence can be downloaded from a multiple
locations in the database.

| Senior Database
|
The Senior Database
contains resources for our three senior subjects:
Mathematics A focuses on
three strands of mathematics - financial mathematics, applied
geometry, and statistics and probability. Optional topics include
linear programming, and networks and queuing theory. Generally
Maths A is taught with a non-algebraic approach.
Mathematics B includes the
study of functions, sequences and series, an introduction to
calculus, and probability and statistics. It also has a 'Maths
for the intelligent citizen' component, which includes topics
on financial mathematics and applied geometry.
Queensland students can elect to do a second senior mathematics subject,
Maths C, in conjunction
with Maths B. This course both extends some of the topics covered
in Maths B and introduces some new topics. This course is for
the serious mathematics student who expects to be using mathematics
extensively in further study. It includes the study of groups,
matrices, further sequences and series, vectors, and further
study of both differential and integral calculus. Optional topics
include probability and statistics, dynamics, and number theory.
