Given is a diagram of a fuel tank (a cone surmounted by a cylinder). The fuel is dispensed from a tap at the bottom of the conical section. A dipstick is a thin rod used to measure how much fuel remains in the tank. On the rod are markings for 1 litre, 2 litres, etc. Unfortunately the dipstick for this tank has been lost. Your task is to make a new dipstick for this fuel tank. (This problem has been
solved successfully by Pamela Ashman, a year 9 student.)
